Montrealers were touched by the perfect performance of Nadia Comaneci during the summer 1976 Olympic Games. The Romanian gymnast has been kept in the heart of Montrealers. Even though I was not even 3 years old then… I know who Nadia Comaneci is, so… that gives you an idea of her impact.

Today, there is a plaza between the Stadium and the Biodome, where the five (5) Olympic symbolic rings are displayed. It is named Place Nadia-Comaneci.
