Akrotiri Lighthouse

Akrotiri is a quiet village surrounded by amazing things to do: the pre-historic town, the red beach and the lighthouse.

The 1892 lighthouse is actually located on the extreme southwest point of Santorini.  The square lighthouse can only be admired from the outside by the public but the view at the feet of the lighthouse is beautiful and recommended for sunset.  The whitewashed walls with black corners are on the edge of the southwest point of the Caldera.

If you are driving, parking can be a challenge.  Better park on the lower section and walk your way up.
