At the far east side of the Champ-de-Mars near Notre-Dame Street is the Municipal Court of Montreal. The early 1910 building was originally built for the police headquarters. It has been used for both municipal administration and legal matters. Some municipal smaller cases are presented at this court; for example, parking matters and tax issues.
