Montreal – St. George’s Anglican Church

1101, rue Stanley

The 1870 church currently seems abandoned due to the pandemic, or not. It is unsure.  Despite the pile of discarded items, I’ve noticed features like the beautiful exterior architectural details that attracted my attention including the decorative mystic figures.

The building presents two entrances; one from Peel Street and one from Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montreal (de la Gauchetiere). Its official address is on Stanley Street.

The church is in front of the Windsor Station building and Place du Canada. You are next to the Bell Center.
