I had mixed feelings on this street and I was laughing in disbelief. I understood that the development of the city needed to rest on more than the falls and the solution was by improving attractions and entertainment.
On this street, you can find: the Skywheel, the Speedway, Fun Factory, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum, Ripley’s Moving Theatre, Movieland Wax Museum of the Stars, Guinness Book of World Records Museum, BP Bowling, Dinosaur Adventure (mini golf), House of Frankenstein Haunted House, Zombie Attack ride, The Haunted House, The Upside Down House and more. These attractions bring atmosphere to the street by partly showing the concept outdoors. The colourful, lively, decorated buildings attract visitors. No wonder there is a booklet to save on multiple attractions.
While it might be very commercial, just laugh and enjoy. You do not have to do any of these attractions, but I can almost consider walking on Clifton Hill a must-do. I admit, I did the Dinosaur Adventure mini-golf. It was nice, busy and, good for me but there is a limit on the number of strokes per hole.
