We often have the image of New Yorkers in a hurry strolling through the fashion or financial districts, but I found a place of relief, to breathe a little and near the water. Between the business district and the Sea, Air and Space Museum, Hudson River Park provides pedestrian or bicycle access for those who wish to retreat from the hustle and bustle of city horns.
Here, greenery meets water and people practice their favorite hobby or sport. There are runners, kayakers, soccer players, tennis players, volleyball players and basketball players who congregate on courts located along the boardwalk as well as dog parks, benches to take a break, and structures for children, all with a magnificent view of the Hudson River and New Jersey.
Here we allow citizens and visitors to breathe over 4.5 miles and allow everyone to admire the water, the shore, and New Jersey, all without reservation, without limit and without charge between 59th Street and Battery Park City.
From this walk, you can reach the Intrepid Air and Space Museum, the High Line, Battery Park, Little Island Park, and places where we would like to have enough hours in a day to see everything.
