A bit like the Bull of Wall Street, the Fearless girl arrived by surprise on the evening of March 7, 2017, the day before International Women’s Day, in front of the Bull on the Bowling Green. Hands-on her hips, hair tied in a ponytail, the 50-inch-tall girl is ready to face the Charging Bull.

While the girl shows determination, the bronze statue was eventually moved. Inversely, the Fearless Girl statue of artist Kristen Visbal was moved from Bowling Green to the front of the offices of the Stock Exchange near Wall Street in December 2018.
